AQUARIUM OF RHODES

The Aquarium and Museum of Marine Life is located at the northerly tip of Rhodes Town.
This attractive building was built in the 1930's and has been kept in excellent condition
until today.
The aquarium receives 200,000 visitors per year who admire specimens of various crab and
fish families as well as sea turtles. In the Museum are also displayed exhibits such as
various kinds of sharks and other fish, sea turtles, toothed whales and monk seals. The goal
of the facility is to preservation and display aquatic life of the Mediterranean sea.
