AFANDOU - Afandou Town is situated slightly inland among low hills and enclosed by olive
groves. It includes several modern hotels, apartments and studios, where you can be
confident of the famous Greek hospitality. Here you will also find numerous bars, cafes,
restaurants, clubs, and original ouzo places to choose from. Afandou also has a beautiful long
sandy and pebble beach with many different water sports. While at Afandou Beach, for all
you golf enthusiasts, you can practice your golf skills at the Afandou Beach 18 hole golf
course which is the only one in Rhodes.
ARCHANGELOS - Positioned on a low inland and surrounded by beautiful mountains,
Arcangelos is by far the largest village in Rhodes. It is considered among the most loyal to
the village traditions. Many of the inhabitants still maintain the skills and crafts of their
grandfathers. They also marry in traditional ceremonies and still speak in their own
distinctive idiom. Archangelos also has many sites of archaeological value and is a short
distance from breathtaking beaches.
FALIRAKI - Primarily known as a youth holiday destination, Faliraki is slowly becoming a
fovorite among families. Faliraki is an excellent coastal resort with the largest sandy beach
on the island of Rhodes. In addition to having the most popular water sports, Faliraki is
home to the largest water park in all of Europe. Faliraki also has a very lively nightlife and a
large range of restaurants.
IALYSSOS - Ialyssos was one of three ancient city states on the island of Rhodes and was
built around the hill of Filerimos which was the ancient acropolis where there are still
remains of buildings from the Archaic, Byzantine and Knights' periods. With an excellent
choice of shops, Greek tavernas, long beaches, traditional houses, bars and nightclubs,
Ialyssos is a wonderful combination of modern and ancient Rhodes.
LINDOS - The traditional and picturesque town of Lindos is considered to be one of the
most fascinating sites in Rhodes and most famous among the Dodecanese ancient cities.
Lindos village lies below the 116 meter high Acropolis and is a showpiece of dazzling
white-washed houses, many of which include courtyards with black and white pebble mosaic
floors. Once the home of wealthy admirals, many have been bought and restored by foreign
celebrities. Lindos was also once a very flourishing fishing village. Today, keeping the
tradition alive, most of the Lindos area restaurants still offer a large variety of local fish
as well as many other Greek and International dishes. When night falls, the atmosphere
changes completely and Lindos really comes alive with its cafes, bars, clubs as well as
romantic spots to be found with spectacular views across the sea.
RHODES TOWN -Rhodes Town is made up of two parts: The Old Town and the New Town,
both having something different to offer its visitors. The Old Town is the most popular
tourist attraction in Rhodes and is the most visited Medieval City in all of Europe. It is
surrounded by walls of a medieval fortress with a cobblestone Avenue of the Knights. There
are also many museums in the Old Town as well as the ancient remains of the Temple of
Aphrodite. The New Town of Rhodes has stylish shops, cafes, bars and restaurants that
overlook the impressive harbor of Mandraki which is lined with boats of all shapes and sizes,
luxury yachts and cruise ships.

CHARAKI - The village of Charaki is positioned in a small picturesque bay with a golden
sandy beach with crystal clear water. In addition to its beautiful bay, you can also enjoy
various well known Greek tavernas as well as bars and cafes that are all situated in front
of the sea. Charaki also has excellent water sports and its clear waters make it ideal for
snorkeling. Nearby, on top of a small hill overlooking Charaki, is the medieval castle of
Feraklos, which was once occupied by the Knights of St. John.
GENNADI - Gennadi is a traditional agricultural village with narrow streets of whitewashed
houses. The village offers several Greek restaurants, small souvenir shops, supermarkets,
and some attractive bars. Gennadi village is not far from large mountains and hills, which
contain many impressive monasteries. Gennadi beach is within walking distance of the village
and has a long pebble and sandy beach with crystal clear blue water.
KALATHOS - Kalathos is a traditional village located a few kilometers from the famous
ancient town of Lindos. Kalathos village is a delightful destination for holidaymakers looking
for classic Greek warmth. Next to the village you can take a leisurely walk at the long and
beautiful Kalathos beach where you can enjoy a soothing day in the sun in a lesser crowded
environment. Whether you are in the village or on the beach, Kalathos offers everything you
need for the ideal vacation around a traditional Greek atmosphere.
KALITHEA - Kallithea is a very attractive resort on the east coast of the island which is a
short distance from Rhodes Town and next to the popular resort of Faliraki. Kalithea has
many impressive sites. The first is the well known Thermes of Kalithea, the exotic
therapeutic baths and springs, built during the period of Italian rule. Kalithea also has a
clean sandy beach of high standard and is ideal for children of all ages. Kalithea is also home

KIOTARI - Kiotari is locally referred to as the newest beach resort in Rhodes. Vacation

KOLYMBIA - Kolymbia is a very attractive coastal resort and is the ideal place for a quiet

snorkeling. There are also plenty of beach front cafes, bars and traditional Greek tavernas

KREMASTI - Kremasti is a growing village that still maintains a customary traditional feel.
Located at the entrance of the village, the Church of Kremasti is among its most famous
attributes and is one of the largest churches on the Island. The Kremasti area is enjoying a
rise in tourism due to the easy access of the nearby famous Valley of the Butterflies. In
addition to being the host of Traditional Greek Festivals throughout the year, Kremasti
village has plenty of Greek tavernas, bars and shops. The pebbled beach of Kremasti is well
organized and has some nice spots for surfing.
LAHANIA - Lahania is a mountainous village on the southeastern coast of Rhodes and has
among the best unspoiled secluded beaches on the island. Lahania is ideal for vacationers
who want privacy and relaxation while they soak up the sun. Although Lahania is less
developed then some of the other villages, this picturesque village offers some fantastic
Greek tavernas and cafes in a friendly local atmosphere.
LARDOS - Lardos is a lively village with a friendly charm and has a lot to offer every type
of holidaymaker. You can enjoy a relaxing holiday in the sun at one of the nearby crystal
clear beaches of Lardos Bay and Glystra beach. You can then go to Lardos town square and
try one of many tavernas serving Greek traditional food or stop by one of the cafes or bars
to enjoy a nice cool cocktail or even a glass of ouzo. Lardos also has many different types of
activities for all ages such as water sports, a large go cart race track, and a mini golf

PARADISI - Paradisi is a lively and charming village which is conveniently located close to
Rhodes International Airport and is also a short distance from private beaches and the
famous Valley of the Butterflies Park. Paradisi is a picturesque village where the traditional
way of life is still commonly practiced in a friendly atmosphere. It's name comes from
“paradise” which represents the beauty of the surrounding area.
PEFKOS - Located on the beach, Pefkos is a popular coastal town next to the famous city of
Lindos. Pefkos was once known as a fisherman’s town and offers many fresh seafood
specialties in traditional Greek tavernas. During the day, you can enjoy the attractive sandy
beach with it's crystal clear shallow waters and have a refreshing drink in one of the many
cafes and bars. For your evening pleasure, Pefkos has a variety of entertainment ranging
from karaoke to Greek dancing.
PRASONISI - At the most southern tip of the island of Rhodes you will find the cape of
Prasonisi which is one of the most popular windsurfing destinations in the Mediterranean.
Prasonisi is a fascinating beach where you will find shallow calm water on one side and waves
on the other side. In addition to it's unique beach, Prasonisi also has a good range of
